A beautiful vintage brooch in a crescent moon design adorned with diamanté crystals. The meaning of the crescent is a new start to a relationship, like the crescent moon is the start of a cycle to a full moon, so were often given or worn at a wedding.

Hallmarked 935 silver: a high purity alloy containing 93.5% pure silver and 6.5% other metals, exceeding the 92.5% of sterling silver. This type of silver was historically used in early 20th century Art Deco European jewellery.

Comes with a jewellery box which I presume is its original. Some of the stones have discoloured with age.
